Impractical Jokers interview at SDCC

The Impractical Jokers took over Petco Park during San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2017 to host their Block Party. There were activities like mechanical bull-riding, face painting, faux sumo wrestling, and more to keep folks busy. A White Castle food truck was parked next to the main stage giving out free burgers to everyone in line. There was even live entertainment in the form of a DJ. The Jokers themselves made frequent appearances giving out free swag to lucky fans. Best part of all…. It was FREE to attend.

For those unfamiliar with the Impractical Jokers let me explain who they are. Impractical Jokers is a hidden camera-practical joke reality series on TruTV. Four long time friends (Joseph “Joe” Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Salvatore “Sal” Vulcano) coerce each other into doing public pranks while being filmed by hidden cameras. The reason why the show differs from other prank television programs is that the stars of Impractical Jokers do not know the details of the prank until the moment they are performing it on strangers. They perform the pranks as challenges to the unsuspecting public. If they fail the prank they get a thumbs down.
At the end of each episode the one with the most failures must endure a punishment chosen by the winner(s).

The Impractical Jokers held a press round table and we were lucky enough to score an invite. I apologize for the audio in advance. The room was not built for good acoustics. Hope you enjoy the video.
